Edison Auto Shop Tentative Release Date

Rumor has it that the reunited Grit Scrimmage will be ready to release their next effort entitled "Edison Auto Shop - The Definitive Grit Scrimmage Collection" in January, 2007. Chief Baby records will post more details as they are unveiled.

Release Updates

Things have been a little slow around here at Chief Baby Records lately, but that doesn't mean things aren't going on behind the scenes. So heres the low down:

Cab Assassin(Assn)
Ltd EP #2 "Music in not Math" released on Halloween. The band starts rehearsing in November for the next album. Steve hopes to have brand new recordings released in the spring. There are 5 songs recorded with only vocals left to do that will be the Cab Assn portion of the Split with Spoon Fed Adults. SFA should have their contributions together by the end of January. Cab Assassin also has some exclusive new demos up on their myspace page.

Grit Scrimmage
Technical Difficulties have been overcome. The rest of the Edison Auto Shop album will be recorded at Bridge-Lock studios in December. Expect a quick turn around for the release once it is completed. We are planning a Dual Disc release that will include a second disc of demos and recordings from the early days of Grit Scrimmage. The band says that they have something BIG planned for the future, but are not ready to unveil the details yet. We will keep our fingers crossed.
